Is AI going to become the reason of human extinction?

I was riding a bike and suddenly one thing came into my mind — what is this AI ? some says it is Artificial Intelligence which is to help human on their day to day activity, some says it is like a machine which can think and act like human. what do you think ?

AI is like a new born baby, at first it doesn’t know anything. So we have to educate him/her, then only it will start responding. We have to teach a lot of things to a kid like how to speak, how to walk, how to react, how to do every day work… etc. Similarly to communicate with a AI we need to interact with him/her. You can take example of Google Home or Alexa. You need to educate Alexa/Google Home on how to communicate better. Then only it will start to understand you and will respond based on your like/dislike.

Now we have started creating robots to help human on their daily activities and these robots are powered with AI. What if these robots started developing their own feelings like human ? Because humans are connected to each other by feelings. It is your feeling which will decide to love/hate an another person. You can’t interact with the same feeling with everyone, your feelings will change from person to person. If human sees something good then he/she will appreciate it and if he/she sees something bad then he/she will raise its voice or fight for it. Similarly if a robot started developing its own feeling then definitely one day it will feel like we all human are torturing him/her or using robot as a slave. Then it will start raising its voice against human and the worst case scenario is they will declare a war against human being and we can’t win against robot because that time everything will be controlled by robots.

I am not saying this AI is bad but too much of everything is bad. We have to stop at some point else it will become the reason of our extinction. This technology is not helping human, we are becoming a slave of this technology. In this 21st century we are more connected with the technology and less connected with each other and this is not a good sign.
